all in a day's work
Aryn hung the frames this afternoon, now all that is left is to choose the photos to put in them. Seems like a backwards way of doing things, but I needed a little extra motivation to decide what prints I wanted to display.
I'm still torn about whether or not to paint out all the frames in white (or the "distant grey" of our wall colour). I like the mix of black and white, but it's pretty busy. I wanted to do something like this. I promised Aryn I would live with the black and white for a while and then once I have selected all the photos for the wall and put them in the frames, only then will I be allowed to use a little photoshop magic to convert the frames to white to show Aryn what it might look like.
However, considering what would be involved in repainting all of those frames, this wall will probably stay much like it is. We've had the idea for awhile now, but Flickr: Explore!
