Belted Kingfisher, Male
I had been seeing this bird for 3 days and always in the same place. But, as I would try to get close to him he would always take off. Today I got up at dawn and waited for him to land in his first perching spot. Success ! I got up before him ! I hid in a grove of trees and waited for him for about an hour and was able to get a decent shot at him .
