Lowriders
If the purpose of a Lowrider is to catch the eye, then these 2 definitely succeeded. A style started in California in mid-to-late 1940s, when Mexican-American barrio youths were lowering their cars by cutting spring coils and painting their cars with fancy colors. "Ride low and slow" was their motto. During the years the style changed a bit and hydraulic suspension systems were added and at some point the bouncing cars were popular. As west coast Hip Hop artists started featuring lowriders in the music videos, lowriders became strongly associated with that musical style. Quite the view to see a car like this bouncing to a rap song while waiting for the green light! The rear car I believe is a Lincoln Town Car and the front a 1965 Chevy Impala SS coupe (thank you Joseph Mazzucco)
Furious - Ja Rule
