Lauree, do you see the start of your mixer paddle here? i hadn't meant to do thread sketching with this part of the block. i used this tutorial to piece the white fabric in the gray so you wouldn't have to see any stitched lines. but, this technique works great for curves, but not for tight (and tiny!) curves that are closer to corners. so, a little thread sketching to secure it made me feel a lot better about it all.
