Litli-Hrútur - Volcanic Eruption in Iceland July 2023

This is an aerial photo taken of the Litli-Hrútur eruption that took place in July of 2023. A friend and I stayed in this volcanic field throughout the night to capture this erupting fissure at sunrise. We watched the low clouds roll in as the sun rose, allowing me to capture this majestic scene of the pink clouds and the flowing lava river and erupting fissure in one shot.
