Although outwardly nothing special, I have recently discovered that this was actually the prototype Algarve II body for the UK market. It was delivered to loyal Caetano customer Jeffs in April 1992, five production versions registered in the same series following the next month, and at one time operated as a 35-seater complete with a physiotherapist's couch, presumably as a sports team coach. It was sold by the administrators to GHA Coaches, who kept the registration and sold the vehicle on.
