The first addition to the Quicksilver coach fleet in 2011 is this Optare StarRider but XMR 500 is no ordinary example. The Paragon kit has been converted into a luxury coach based on the one operated by Roadliner of Poole and sold on eBay last year, and has an all-new interior with just 20 seats, tables, toilet and servery, largely scratchbuilt but using Mark Hughes's excellent whitemetal seats. It is branded as the 'Mini Diplomat' and offers the same high standard of comfort as our full-size Diplomat Class coaches but in a smaller package for the discerning traveller.
