Circus Contractor

The latest arrival from Atlas Editions is the best of the Trackside-based models so far, but is not quite the same as the illustration on the initial leaflet. Scammell Contractor VLH 434G was the most famous member of the Austen Brothers Circus fleet and served for over a decade pulling the tent trailer and main generators, and the model is not 100% accurate but a lot more so than previous efforts that were basically fictional. Hopefully Atlas have finally done away with their pesky triangular-headed screws as this one was fixed to the plinth with normal crossheads. This is apparently the sixth in the series and I have missed out on the Emerson & Hazard steam engine, but Atlas don't always send them in order so I'm sure I'll get that one eventually.
