Cheddar Gorged
Also found in the old albums was this undated but clearly 1960s view of Cheddar Gorge with an interesting collection of vehicles in sight. The coach nearest the camera is a typical independent's vehicle of the time, a Duple Bella Vega or Trooper, and the one pulling out of the line appears to be a Roe Dalesman. There is a Bristol RELH coach at the far end and an Alexander Y-type with its back to the camera. Cars include a collection of BMC products (at least two Minis, an A40 and a pre-Farina Cambridge) and a Triumph Herald, but the one directly opposite the Dalesman looks American.
