made from 24 lb. granite white paper, 24 lb. granite rose paper, 24 lb. granite gray paper and cotton thread (with long stitch binding); cover is made from vinyl wallpaper (from designtechniques Express Vol. III & Waverly Finishing Effects Vol. IV), thin chipboard and thick chipboard
the cotton thread used for the binding was soaked in 1 part settlers blue acrylic paint and 4 parts water, then dried with a hair dryer, repeating this process 3 or 4 times until the thread was evenly dyed... afterward, i waxed the thread with beeswax
