Standing Still

I remember when time stood still...

 

no remembrance of past

no conception of future.

never saw yourself growing...

even though you were told

that one day you would...

all up that is.

 

when ya get there,

growd up,

you find

time doesn't stand still-

not even for little girls.

 

(boys too, but they take a little longer ;-))
