Castro de La Mesa de Miranda
Not easy to find along a muddy track in the middle of nowhere (north of Chamartin) but worth all the trouble. A well preserved Celtic fortress (of the Vettones) with excellent signposting. An instructive view in a 'previous' Europe. We were the only visitors that day.
