a number of Langa's installations, collages, paintings, drawings, photographs, and videos employ cartographic forms, and they often thematize travel and displacement. The artist is not, however, hunting to claim virgin territory.
rather, this cartography establishes links- between time and space, memory and history,places and names- that were once invisible.
