Checker
by A.J.____
Not much is known about the company that produced Checker signals, but the signals themselves seem to be modeled off of Eagle's 12" flat-back signals. The doors and reflectors are interchangeable on both, and the body castings are slightly similar. Checkers are infamous for holding up poorly on the field. As an indication of this, my Checker has a damaged door hinge on the top section's door. This signal was purchased at the Mid Island Salvage scrapyard from a 4-cluster of Checkers, and the cracked red lens was swapped on-site with an Eagle red lens. I won't be restoring this signal, it will stay as-is.
