A shot for today's daily shoot.

#ds531: Make a photograph dominated by the color green today.

This shot kind of makes me feel a little sad as I don't really like to think about animals in captivity but the Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre is in fact doing wonderful things for primates. I should also point out that all of the primates are in huge enclosures you just can't tell from this particular photo.

Monkey World in Dorset, England assists governments around the world to stop the smuggling of primates from the wild. Monkey World rescues primates that have suffered abuse or neglect and rehabilitates them into natural living groups. Monkey World has over 240 monkeys, apes and prosimians.

Most of the Capuchins (like the one pictured here) came from a Chilean laboratory and a few others were rescued from the pet trade.
