First of all this isn't a very good photograph, but I just had to share it as it really made me laugh.
Quite often when I'm out taking photos I listen to music, I can usually hear what's going on but I can't always make out what people are saying etc which I find quite useful - it filters out the distractions. Well this morning I was sat on the sand beneath the pier by myself listening to music and looking through my viewfinder for quite a while taking a number of shots of the pier above me. When I eventually pulled the camera away from my face I came face to face with this dog who had presumably come to find out what I was doing. The thing is because I really wasn't expecting to see someone, let alone so close it actually made me jump. I did manage to take a very quick shot before he ran off but I knew my manual settings were set-up incorrectly.
When I reviewed the photo later and saw him with sand all over his face it really made me laugh. :)
