Life is simple, it's just not easy.
I just happened to have my camera with zoom lens attached in my hand this evening when I noticed this black cat making his way towards me. I managed to take a couple of quick shots before the shutter sound caused him to run off in the opposite direction.
I realise that not everyone will appreciate this photo because of the unfortunate mouse and if I'm honest I feel the same way but I also felt that this is something that occurs in nature everyday so it isn't unjust to show it. I apologise if this offends anybody.
This cat is actually rather photogenic as he has the pupil missing from his left eye, I didn't notice this until looking at the photo afterwards.
