See the light II
*This is the second shot I have uploaded of this particular subject. I've uploaded two photos, the other is a much closer shot.*
This evening I popped out in my car to try and find a shot for my one-a-day.
I soon found a closed garden centre with a stone sculpture (essentially a bit roughly square piece of rock with a circlular hole carved out of it) near the entrance. After a little bit of walking around and playing I was able to find an angle where I could see one of the car park street lights was framed within it. Using the new high aperture, long exposure technique I've been playing with a little bit recently I was able to create an appealing light burst effect.
I briefly contemplated converting this shot to black and white but I think it would be a real shame to lose the impact of that light burst. :)
