Supernova II
I ventured into the garden this evening for my one a day photo challenge. I was hoping to photograph a bumble bee but there wasn't a single one to be found. When I don't have my camera they are absolutely everywhere, it's a conspiracy I'm convinced. I didn't see any bumble bees but I did discover some dandelions instead and thought I would get a few shots as I have seen a lot of them appearing on Flickr recently.
This one in particular reminds me of the photos of supernovas that you sometimes see, where a huge burst of radiation is being sent out in every direction.
This one is a tight square crop in black and white as I thought that the contrast might add some emphasis to the supernova effect it reminded me of.
