*This is a landscape version of this shot, there is also a very similar shot in portrait*

I was walking along the beach and popped into one of the little beachfront shops to buy a bottle of water when I saw these little windmills for sale. There was a bunch of different colours, some plain and some with patterns and I decided they might just make for a more interesting photo of the sand dunes. £1.85 later and I was leaving with one in my possession (and getting some funny looks from passers by being a fully grown man holding a child's windmill).

I looked around for a little while for the best placement and in the end settles on some sand dunes with grass poking through, I wanted it to be positions in such a way that you could see the horizon behind. By the time I was happy with the composition the sun had gone in and I had to sit and wait. I can tell you that kids love these things and as I was some distance away there were numerous children running up and playing with it, I had to politely ask a few not to run off with it.

when the sun eventually came out was able to get a couple of quite nice shots (I think). I couldn't decide if I preferred landscape of portrait so I am uploading both.
