Torture demonstration

A block from my hotel was this protest against the Chinese Communist Party. These guys noticed my camera's flash go off and threw me a look like I wasn't supposed to be watching them. Why else would you stage a protest on a busy public street, guys? Is flash an instrument of torture too?
