The song of the Black Phoebe is very sweet and distinctive. The bird always sounds so happy to me. I see them so often that I usually don't bother taking their shots.
But this little guy kept from 10 to 20 feet in front of me as I walked along the trail. He was just begging to have his photograph taken. So I obliged when he perched with a nice background.
