William H. Smith b Philadelphia PA 21 Apr 1879, md to Blanche Washington and later to his performing partner, Lucy Jackson. Jackson and Smith appear to have formed a double act sometime between 1903 and 1908 but they don't seem to be married until 1919. His father was Harry Smith, born in Harrisburg PA, a restaurant keeper in St Louis. He died at Shanghai General Hospital, 29 Jan 1923.
