Well....still not well enough to go out photo shooting sooo bought a plant to work with indoors....there's always a solution! Cropping and lightening exposure were the only editing.

 

My plan with the plant....could be more than what you want to read, warning you...:)

So....the 5D camera, two lenses 1.4 and 2.8 macro set on wide open....and tripod....1.4 did not work in way I thought so just used the macro lens (Paul.....further thoughts on 1.4?) Spent parts of two days photographing, asking myself....what are my goals?

 

Learning to use the camera better

Working with natural light

A shot with little editing

Variety and texure in petals and buds

Composition and interest
