The tunic worn by Buster Crabbe in the serial Flash Gordon, among others was also worn in The Adventures of Superman by Robert Rockwell, who played Jor-El. Among other famous serial tunics, one of the other Kryptonian elders also wore Captain Marvel's tunic.
