PFC @ The Engine Room

A new armor, this time unisex, this time in a fantasy design, once more for The Engine Room event.

I wanted to make a dark elf armor, something that looked wicked and spikey, the armor that a dark knight would use. Turns out in gold or white it looks like a total paladin of light.

 

The armor comes in 8 different metals that can be applied separately to the main plates (75% of the armor) or to the detail, the combinations make it pretty interesting to customize

- LaraX

 

Not PBR yet. I would have liked to include a PBR version but I still find myself lost about PBR, I will miss having the armor runes glow with the new emissive modes but for every situation where the metal looks nice under PBR I found other situations where it doesn't due to height, environment, inadequate lights, lack of probes and probably just not the right textures. I just wanted to say that I am studying it, but after several days on it I have to confess my PBR materials are not ready to see the light.
