Fishermen on a Glassy Lake
Meant to get out and take new photos this weekend but I've been sick since Thanksgiving with an infected ear. What better time, then, to get out the old shoebox and see what I've always meant to upload?
This was taken back on May 23rd of 2007. It had poured rain all day and then, around 6pm, the rain stopped. As I was driving home from work I saw that Lake Phalen (here in Saint Paul, Minnesota) was smooth as glass. I stopped and took photos until it got too dark. One of my favorite sets is of these guys, putting along in their little boat, hardly making a ripple.
I've tone-mapped this image a little but it's not hdr.
