IME: OLV tour of FAME

A group of first- through fifth-graders that are enrolled in an after-school computer coding class at Our Lady of Victory (OLV) toured the Factory for Advanced Manufacturing Education on Dec. 19. Professor Ed DeMeter demonstrated how coding is used to program manufacturing machinery to build things and answered questions the children had about what they saw.

Dan Finke, an affiliate faculty member of the IME department, and Julianna Little, a technology resource teacher for grades K-6 at OLV, helped organize the tour.
