A beautiful Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (male, with a red throat)

I have seen very few Sapsuckers this year, in contrast to last, but this beauty makes up for it! He certainly carries his name well, with a brilliantly colored yellow belly and sap oozing from the pine tree from his numerous perforations. I love these birds...
