Falcon
During 2004-2005, I helped to install WiFi nodes in the North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago for a wireless community networking project.
We had access to the old Sears Tower at Homan Square, and had permission to install nodes at the top of the building, 13 stories up.
A falcon perched from the top of the tower to go hunting (its nest was nearby), and we'd see it from time to time as we worked. It seemed as wary of us as we were of it, but every once in a while it would make an aggressive pass just to remind you who was boss.
I managed to snap this pic moments before ducking back inside for safety.
