A photograph taken from my late father Ronald Wardle, estate.
I can only imagine as to location, that this was taken up in Scotland, somewhere. He liked to holiday up here in the 1950's/60's. At a guess, I would say on the Western Side. I love the composition in this one, with some interesting dyamic elements to draw you in, inviting you to explore with his eye and thought process. I dont think many of his images saw the light of day. Its a honour to be able to be able to share now.
I have discovered a connection of sorts with my dad that I never knew existed, with a shared penchant for photographing the automobile.
