Empty. Expired.

The Aseler Bridge from 1887 is normally submerged in the depths of Lake Edersee - with around 10-11 metres below the water surface! Due to the damming of the Eder ("Edertalsperre") in 1914, it had to give way to the floods of Lake Edersee. But when the water level is extremely low, as it was this year, it reappears and is a popular attraction for tourists and residents.
