Riverside
Along with the Fulda, the Werra is one of the main source rivers of the Weser. The Werra is almost 300 km long and has its source in the south of Thuringia, in the Thuringian Slate Mountains, near the Rennsteig. Here at Lindenwerra it formed the former inner-German border. An incredible border system was installed by the former GDR.
