In the late Middle Ages, precisely in 1430, the Hussites advanced on the city, but without conquering it. Bishop and the wealthy citizens fled. The inhabitants who remained in the city then plundered the wine cellars, monasteries, etc. Probably the people also ran through this narrow alley ... maybe with or without booty.
