The church and the statue.

The church in the background belongs to a former Benedictine monastery. The monastery was founded in the middle of the 12th century. The church is said to date from the third quarter of the 12th century. The monastery was abandoned in the early 19th century, but the church is still in operation as a parish church to this day.
