Intimacy

This picture arrived at this point after a lot of grief. I just lost sight of what made the lighting in this image the stage and backdrop. The glass casement window is probably improbable at this middling level in the early 17th century, but in the end art won over science. She should also be wearing a coif, but that is not how I wanted to tell the story.

On the other hand this is an achievement of a different kind. Her bodice and his wardrobe are "painted" by the Lora I fine tuned. This is exactly what I was hoping to do with a Lora, although I realized it is an inpainting tool not a tool for the whole picture.

I almost canned this image. I hated it. My friend and tutor Matt helped rescue the image by pushing it to more of a story moment in his ten minute video critique. That was also my goal all along, to get better at storytelling images.

I've realized that 100% historical accuracy is an impossible end point, because it would take years to get my creations somewhere near that exactitude. I am dancing as fast as I can.
