Day 269 of Year 7- I voted [EXPLORED]

Today, I'm wearing purple, white, and gold for the women who made it possible for me to say: "I voted".

The Suffragists adopted those colors for their banners and flags.

From The National Women's Party's website: "Purple is the color of loyalty, constancy to purpose, unswerving steadfastness to a cause. White, the emblem of purity, symbolizes the quality of our purpose; and gold, the color of light and life, is as the torch that guides our purpose, pure and unswerving."
