Re-repainted Mulan
So! Here is Mulan, version 2. In a way, the varnish blunder was a blessing in disguise, as I'm really pleased with how my second Mulan repaint has turned out. She's super freckly, which is the result of the Lucy Liu influence.
This is a 2012 Disney Store doll. I was working on my new (old) Mattel Matchmaker Magic Mulan while I was was working on this doll, and while I love the Mattel closed mouth Mulan sculpt, I think I prefer the Disney store doll overall; she's got a more delicate body shape, as well as greater translucency in her face vinyl.
