Neapolitan Chinle
My drone looks down at evenly-spaced "flavors" of Chinle mudstones from close range. Site is in Arizona north of Joseph City near Mesa Wash.
The small, closely-packed dendritic erosion channels on this steep slope can be compared with the large dendrites I photographed on a flat dry lake surface. Perhaps the closeness of the channels is a function of slope angle.
