The last few months have been very interesting for algorithmic automated trading system users. We run and monitor slightly in excess of 100 trading systems. What we have seen with our systems over the last 6 or 8 weeks is a complete rotation between the best and worst trading systems. In other words the systems that were performing very well in the last quarter of 2019 have not performed so well in the 1st quarter of 2020. Whereas some of the systems that may not have performed well for a year or more have suddenly sprung back into life and are currently making very substantial profits.
