Acetate Butterflies Mother's Day Card

To make this Mother's Day card, I stamped the Dandelion Frame onto acetate using Opaque Cotton White Staz-on ink then set it aside to dry. I made a background on Fadeless Art Board using Broken China Distress Ink and then stamped the Flourish Trio over top with the same ink.

The blue background piece was cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities Small Classic Rectangles and is on the inside of the card. The white piece was cut using Small Classic Scalloped Rectangles Nesties and is on the back side of the card to hide the adhesive and allow room for a personal message.

The butterflies were stamped using Ranger Archival black ink (waterproof) onto plain white card stock. Then they were colored using Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Shabby Shutters, and Dusty Concord Distress Inks. The edges of the wings have had a slight bit of glitter added, but it is hard to see in the photo. They are attached at their centers and the wings are slightly bent for dimension.

Thanks for looking!
