Seaside Serenity [Explore]

For my one thousandth public image on Flickr, I thought I would choose one of a location closer to home.

 

Windansea Beach, in La Jolla, California, has a storied past that does not necessarily convey serenity. But this scene, absent surfer gangs, (or any other people for that matter), brings home the idea that this little shack by the ocean provides a quiet respite, for all comers, not just surf observers and waxed boards in between sets.
