A popular whitewater recreation area in the Cherokee National Forest, the class II-III rapids through this section of the Tellico River are great for kayaks and canoes, especially during the Spring.

 

Additionally, the Tellico is a great place for trout fisherman looking to score brook, brown, or rainbow trout.
