Act Casual...

Driving along the eastern portion of Zion National Park on our way to Bryce Canyon, we happened across a small heard of desert bighorn sheep ringing in the new year with a grazing party.

 

I was able to drop down from the roadside to a level equal to a few of the more distant sheep as they ambled along the edge of Pine Creek Basin. Several of the sheep had tracking collars, but these two were a little more independent from the rest.

 

As they returned to the rest of the herd, I caught them looking at me, with the one in the back seemingly warning the other to blend in...
