North from Chicken Point
Sedona, Arizona is famous for its red rock canyons, the deep greens of the pinion pines in the Coconino National Forest, and the spiritual energy vortexes which occur in the vicinity of ley lines, which are the intersections of natural electromagnetic earth energy.
The area is rich with hiking, biking, and off-road (4x4) trails. This is Chicken Point, easily reached at the end of the Broken Arrow Trail by any of the aforementioned means. If these rock formations have names, I am not aware of them. My understanding is the locals tend to make up their own names and they are rarely permanent. regardless, it's a beautiful scene, and well worth the adventure!
