Catalyst on Fromme
Ride number two out with the new bike, I was just so stoked yesterday that I went out by myself to trails I've never ridden before. Things were a bit extreeeme as I ended up on a black diamond trail and was a bit drained from the ride from east van to the 5th switchback on Mt. Fromme in North Van. Once past the harder stuff, though, the Catalyst again showed it was up to the task. I stopped for an americano and a cookie at the place by Lynn Headwaters and rode home via Rice Lake and Fisherman's Trail.
