M&M "Art"
Way back in the way back, there was the hype about Star Wars III. Included in said hype was the Star Wars M-Pire promotion put on with M&Ms. The "light side" was represented by regular milk chocolate M&Ms while the "dark side" was represented with never-before-produced dark chocolate M&Ms. Following this promotion, however, the dark chocolate ones ceased production. Which is too bad, because I was to the point where I could eat a bag a day if I didn't stop myself.
Now, I'd amassed quite a collection once I noticed them starting to disappear from shelves everywhere, but that too dwindled quickly. I tried going back to "regular" M&Ms, but it just wasn't the same. I even got to the point where I wrote M&M and asked if they had any plans to restart production on them. That's when I found out they were, in fact, planning to bring back the regular dark chocolate ones. Several months from then.
All well and good, except that I got addicted to the peanut ones more. When they released the "new" dark chocolate M&Ms (in the purple wrappers), they did so without the peanut counterpart. That was a year ago. Finally, this month, they rereleased the dark chocolate peanut M&Ms.
Only I found they tasted better (to me) eaten out of the freezer. So, I stuck my bag in the freezer. When I pulled it out, cut it open, poured it into a bowl, and started eating them, I noticed they were wet (from the condensation) and sticky. So, I started grabbing them with the paper towel instead of my bare hand. This was the result on that paper towel (with a couple M&Ms thrown in for good measure :) ).
