Wednesday, we tried going for a quick hike near Fingle Bridge. First, we had to survive the single-track, winding, poor-visibility, hedge-lined (or sometimes hedges growing over a wall), barely-wide-enough-for-the-car roads to get there. Then we got off on the wrong path. Then flies mobbed us. Then we had to go back on those terrifying, perilous roads. This was in the middle.
