Atop Flattop
Friday involved a hike and climb up Flattop, a nice little mountain that lives inside Anchorage's municipality limits. The peak is at 3510 ft, and the Internet said the rise from the trailhead is a little more than 1250 feet. I was mistakenly under the impression that it was just a hiking trail that led all the way to the top, but there was actual climbing of rocks involved. Which was all cool going up. It took me far longer to get down. :) Don't ask how I got that impression, I don't know.
On this particular Friday, climbing to the peak involved literally climbing into the clouds, thus obscuring the view.
