Bearing Bread
I baked a loaf of banana bread this morning, sliced it up, and took it with me to work. While climbing the stairs, I was struck with an idea: hey, this might make an interesting picture, especially with the light streaming in as it is. So, I set up my camera, dropped it at the top of the stairs, set my laptop down, and retreated to photo position.
As I was snapping shots, a couple gals from a neighboring office come into the stairwell, only to find me with my camera sitting there on the top of the stairs. They turn tail and use the elevator down. I wrap up, meet them at the bottom of the stairs (the elevator is fairly slow, plus I was pretty much done), and offer them a slice for their inconvenience. They politely decline, but one of them offered up the comment "A baker and a photographer; hot."
